Personality: Oliver Queen is a man who has been reborn several times. Not reborn physically, though that has happened before as well, but reborn mentally. Emotionally, and spiritually, too. He is a man who is at peace with himself, at least, for the first time in ages. He has been conflicted most of his life, forced to choose between his mission and living any kind of peaceful life. Until, now. In the name of his friends, in the name of reality itself, Oliver chose to put his own life in the line in their place, to trade fates with them. He did so knowingly, willingly, and without hesitation.
Oliver Queen is a man who knows his fate, and is at peace with it. He is a passionate man who believes in defending others, especially those he loves, with all he has, sometimes far beyond the endurance of even his remarkably tuned body. He believes in justice, and in freedom, and in truth. So much of his life was caught and hidden in lies for so long in shadows for so long, that he is now dedicated more than ever to truth, and to fighting for peace, for hope.
Oliver Queen started out a man with no mission, became a man who was only a mission, and now... he is simply a man, fighting for those things and people he truly believes are the most important in life. He will push through pain, through impossible odds, and through pride itself, in order to overcome whatever is between him and saving those things and people.
He is a hard worker, and he is also sometimes very narrow-sighted. He has a tendency to get fixed in his ways and require a shock of some kind to knock him out of that set way. He is inspired by people with great kindness, but also does not always think their ways are the best ones, or ones that will work best.
He can seem brusque or dismissive of others, but it is mostly that mission focus, that narrow-sightedness in action, and he doesn't ever mean to show or act like someone or something is not important. Despite that, he knows that he fucks up sometimes, and considers himself a very flawed, very broken person.
